This is a full package (aircraft and panel) and it is for FS 2004, but it should work also in FS2002, except the GPS, to be displayed at 1024x768 resolution or more.

HISTORY
========
Remembering the good old days of our youth with my collegue Capt. Giovanni Quai, we decided to have a go with this aircraft, for which he still has a lot of photographic material and the official operating manual.

Thank you for downloading this package, I hope you'll enjoy it.

IMPORTANT!
===========
You MUST also insert the enclosed 'GougeSound.dll' in the Main FS2004 folder, othrwise you will experience a FS crash!!

FREEWARE!

FOREWORD
========
The model reproduces the aircraft flown by Capt. Giovanni Quai in the early sixties: it features highly reflective metallic skin and the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels and so on.
The panel background has been created entirely from scratch, based on photographic material found in the official operating manual and some photos shot by the authors.
The most part of the gauges have been created by the authors.
Included in this model there is also a very simple Virtual Cockpit, with working essential gauges and animated flight controls.

INSTALLATION
============
Just unzip this file into your FlightSimulator9/aircraft folder and you will find an "F86-SABRE" folder with the usual subfolders, a 'GougeSound.dll', a 'F86_Gauges' folder, a 'F86_sound' folder and an 'fx_afterburner_f3.fx' file then operate as follows:

Step 1-Copy/Paste the contents of the 'F86_Gauges' folder into the main FlightSimulator9 'Gauge' folder.

Step 2-Copy/Paste the 'GougeSound.dll' in your main FlightSimulator9 folder (if you don't have it yet).

Step 3-Copy/Paste the contents of the 'F86_sound' folder into the main FlightSimulator9 'sound' folder. (Pay attention; you may have more recent sound files, so do not overwrite them).

Step 4-Copy/Paste the 'fx_afterburner_f3.fx' file into your main FlightSimulator9 'Effects' folder.

I think this should be the end of the installation procedure.

...Have happy landings!

TIPS
====
In order to have the engine exhaust flame displayed, toggle the lights switch (L key on the keyboard). This is the only way to hide the flame when the engine is not running: unfortunately so far we could not find another way to get it automatically.
Even if the real F86 was not equipped with an autopilot, we provided such a device in the lower right part of the panel, just for those simmers who like to fly with it.
